This week brought an assortment of activities. The midline MAP tests occurred over three mornings. We had an assembly to kick-off African Diaspora and Cultural Heritage Month. We prepared for our 3rd grade assembly. We also had a morning with Ms. Formengia to discuss friendship. The hodgepodge of activities meant a less straight-forward week, which was fine. Anyway, I decided to capture some scenes from other doings during the week. This week's snapshots are mainly from specials and after-school activities.
THIS WEEK'S IN SITES! The first link is an article from the New York Times called How to Raise a Creative Child – Step One: Back Off Easy!
The second is a reminder to visit Funbrain.com and Poptropica tour and comics. The kids who visited the site last week returned excited about the educational enjoyment in the land of Poptropica. Check it out!
Enjoy your weekend,
Mr. Johnson
